Once Upon a Time…

…in 1003, Hatat House, Muscat, a boy and a girl lived with their little baby girl, Rimi.

92They travelled far and near places together, brought back home mementos, memories and photographs. Together they put them up on walls that chronicled their life and times as a couple and as new parents.

In between her untamed writing, illustrious career, lustrous wanderings and magnificent musings, the girl made her home breathtakingly beautiful. Even the Sun that shone in the Oman sky would wait impatiently every morning for her to open her windows…

1 1213 7Her greens glowed in all their glory and her baithak oozed the radiance of a newly formed rainbow.

14 16 1518 This was once the home of Soma Ghosh, her husband and their daughter. They lived in Muscat, Oman, then.

1110 The Ghoshs now live in Bombay, India. Which means that we also get to see Soma’s Hiranandani home.

I promised to be patient with Soma till she sends the new set of photos. I know you will be too. Just because Soma has a uniquely charming way of welcoming everyone into her home. And then she kills them with her 1000 watt smile.

Wow, this has been so beautifully put together, there is no room for improvisation. You bet it is infectious since I have also been inspired by soma to add some greens and hopefully she'll guide me.
